Griha Pravesham is the traditional South Indian name for Griha Pravesh Puja, the sacred Hindu ceremony performed before entering a newly constructed, newly purchased, renovated or rented house. The ritual is performed to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, Vastu Purusha and the Navagrahas.
